Kosovo veteran Jasper Terwilliger is a gentle monster of a man. A knee injury abruptly ended his army tenure, and JT is a dim photocopy of his former self. The little free time he can afford is spent aiding his grandmother (Granna) in her remote cabin. Filled with memories, the hand-built cabin is Granna’s only connection to her late husband. On one quiet night, a group of malicious home invaders enter Granna’s reclusive cabin. They find out they’ve made a mistake when JT brutally fends them off. With one too many Rums and capable combat experience, JT only fears one thing more than the violent criminals: Grandma. JT haphazardly protects his grandmother from a swelling number of goons, all while keeping her oblivious to the home invasion. Successfully whittling away their spirits, JT realizes they’re after a priceless extinct bear skin his grandfather hunted. In retaliation, Stan, the gang leader, recruits as many goons as possible to invade the cabin. With an unyielding spirit and the help of the family dog, JT rages against the horde to defend his grandmother. Endeared by his actions, JT inadvertently garners allies from the battered invaders.
