In 1976, Raquel and her girlfriend have car trouble and break down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. They stumble upon an abandoned mine and decide to explore it. At the same time a group of people are in the desert for the photo shoot. The plan is to do a salt and pepper styled shoot to celebrate the Bicentennial unity sweeping across the nation. The magazine cover will feature two models, Roxy and Raquel. Since Raquel doesn't show up, they enlist Sunshine, the make-up artist, to take her place. After the shoot they stumble upon an abandoned town called Savage. It has a history of being very violent but has been vacant for years. It's a perfect place to explore and take some photos. But they are not alone. A family of masked psychopaths have claimed Savage as their own and are hell bent on living up to its name.
